A Natural Mother's Dream of Hope

I spotlighted Pam's story.  Now I want to spotlight a birthmother member of Texans Adult Adoptees OBC AccessSandra is a unique mother.  In fact, all of the mothers that speak out are special to me because they are stepping up to the plate and helping adoptees fight for their right to access the original birth certificate.  They also do not just fight for that issue either.  They also fight to access those records themselves.  Many of those mothers can not access them believe it or not.  They need to because many were given medication that has affected them today.  They too are wanting to find their children lost to adoption.

Sandra has been reunited with her son for quite some time.  She tells her story on her blog.  I advise all to read her story.  What makes her so unique is that she too is a Texas Search Angel.  She describes her journey in finding her son.

There is this myth that mothers do not want to be found.  That is simply not the case.  I find that mothers are in equal numbers when it comes to searching with adoptees.  A majority of these mothers are not the wilting flowers that are closeted by the adoption industry.  They are strong, powerful, intelligent, beautiful, and just plain awesome.
