Texas does not have a legislative session this year. It will begin later in the year. We have already begun plans for it. I apologize that I have not been as active in recent months on this blog. It is due to personal issues within my life. It has nothing to do with adoption at all. I have had friends take over the email group but I am maintaining the blog as much as I can.
Adoptees and birth mothers are still having issues with getting their information here in Texas. Agencies that have shut down their adoption services but still provide foster care services are denying truthful information to their adoptees and birth parents.
There is still quite a bit of activity going on in other states. Keep in mind that the Adoptee Rights Demonstration will be held in Louisville, KY. So stay tuned for any and all updates.
I hope to be able to dedicate more attention to the blog in the weeks ahead.
